Dumb Question - Guild Wars Forums

I have asked many people and looked at many posts of 55 monk builds. I use those builds to farm UW with a SS/SV necro and i finally got spellbreaker and that took away my SOJ so now i dont do any dmg exept 9 dmg from wand. I was wondering what skill you use to do the damage to the smites and Aatxe, I have looked at 55 monk builds and i have seen Wrath, Zelouts fire, and Balths aura, but all of those are AoE and they run away and kill my friend... the nec... so i was wondering how do i deal dmg?

If I'm not mistaken, when you take a necro along, you're not really supposed to be doing any damage, just tanking. The necro does all the damage from just far enough away as to not draw aggro.

...and before other people beat me to this next point...

Look around the forums, and you'll find several builds for monk/necro farming.

Swehurn is right. You don't need to deal any damage at all as the monk. The only damage dealing skill I bring with me is Smite simply because it takes down nightmares in one hit, and if two or three spawn, it helps me kill them faster.

Use spellbreaker as your elite, and load up on tanking skills. I use Mending, Healing Breeze, and Watchful Spirit for a constant 6 pips of regen, and tops out at 10 when I cast healing breeze.

Im trying to solo... I can but It takes forever!! and so i was wondering how i can solo without a necro and deal the dmg.

that's the thing... u can either solo UW and take forever... or go with a nec and just breeze thru everything

and as a monk u want to be the tank... the necro should be doing all the dmg
